Nestlings
Nestlings offers childcare and education for children 0-2 years old.
Nestlings is converted from a family house, and has a lovely feeling of being at home for our little ones.
We nurture and teach up to 15 babies and 18 two year olds,
with ratios of 1:3 for under two year olds and 1:6 for the two year olds.

Fledglings
Fledglings offers childcare and education for children 3-5 years old.
Our Fledglings centre caters for children from 3 years to starting school. We have a large nature-based playground.
At Fledglings the ratio is 1 teacher for every 8 children.

Nestlings is a converted home that opened its doors in 2007,
while Fledglings is a purpose-built centre, that opened a year later in 2008.
Education Review Office (ERO) Akarangi: quality evaluation report evaluates the extent to which this early childhood service has the learning and organisational conditions to support equitable and excellent outcomes for all learners.
